The Joint Research Unit (In French, UMR) 1136 Interaction Trees / microorganisms is part of the Research Federation (In French, FR) 110 EFABA (Forest ecosystems, Agro-resources, Bio-molecules and Alimentation) and of The Lab of Excellence for Advanced Research on the Biology of TRee and Forest Ecosystems (ARBRE). It is under the double tutelage of the INRAE and Lorraine University.
The present Director of the unit is Sébastien Duplessis, who is assisted by Pascal Frey and Nicolas Rouhier.
The Department is composed of three functional research teams that are under the supervision of Pascal Frey, Stéphane Uroz (campus INRAE) and Mélanie Morel-Rouhier (university campus):
- Ecogenomics of interactions team managed by Stéphane Uroz, located at Campus INRAE of Nancy-Lorraine campus at Champenoux
- Ecology of forest pathogenic fungi team managed by Pascal Frey, located at Campus INRAE of Nancy-Lorraine campus at Champenoux
- Stress response and redox regulation team managed by Mélanie Morel-Rouhier, located at University of Lorraine Campus Lorraine University at Vandoeuvre-Les-Nancy
